Steem price Recovery!

Time to Celebrate!

The recovery of Steem over the last few days has been monumental all on its own but what makes it even more impressive is when you compare that performance to other crypto-currencies

Here we have Steem's performance over the last 7 days in its GBP value (not something most of you will care about I appreciate.)

compare this to Bitcoin's performance over the last 7 days

same goes for Etherium

At first glance you can say hey all of them went up!
you're not wrong but both Bitcoin and Etherium did something that Steem managed to avoid, A massive dip before the rise. Steem just had that beautiful climb with no drop beforehand the result of this being that steam is up an insane 42% in a 7 day period with bitcoin only up 2.7% in the same time period.
and finally poor Etherium is actually down 1.5% due to its climb only barely taking it above where it was at before the drop and subsequent "correction" then taking it below those levels.

Personally I think one of the most exciting things an Alt-Coin can achieve is not having its value pretty much be a direct correlation with Bitcoin or ETH and its sadly fairly rare from what I have seen. But today we can see that Steem is well and truly independent and fully capable of soaring to success whether that be alongside the rest of the crypto market or despite it.

Of course this is a recent development so it is entirely possible we will drop again but I have high hopes for the foreseeable future.
