Either way, not wrong about the bid bots. Also, big problem with the rampant collusive voting / circle jerking.

If only the whales had the wisdom to empower the sheep to produce real quality rather than the fee fleecing them by taking advantage of the rat race pyschology.

It's a damn shame. Glad I know a few witnesses that have a bigger picture mentality but seems the profiteers are going to drive this place into the ground unless they start using their power reaponsibly.

I second... errr third the bid bot comment. Not a fan.

They are digging their own grave and bury us with them.

With so much circle jerking, the bid-bots look like Mother Theresa - they are the ONLY equalising factor available to anyone. I don't agree that the trending trash problem is the fault of non-human bid-bots. After all, it is human beings most of the time who create the trash in the first place.

Curating ought to be kept decentralised as far as possible. I don't trust whale curators with that responsibility, because frankly, I don't trust any single person with too much weighted power. Much like I don't believe in forms of government where the population hands over power to politicians. I also started out dead against bid-bots but i quickly came to understand how horridly despicable the circle jerking really is, and it happens in a lot of the so called curating leagues as well. In fact, it is adsactly where trash gets put into trending most of the time if you ask me.
