There is no school of benevolent whales delegating all their steem power to guarantee effective global steem distribution. I am the dim fool who believed that our creator would not forsake us. Dan showed up here long enough to downvote us which also informs us that there is no imminent help arriving in our battle for global Steem adoption, so we are smart to retreat.

Wow, am I gullible! Our creator has abandoned us. So be it. I am used to facing extreme abandonment situations by the most important person in my life, and am no stranger to homelessness, so having a problem such as “investing into the wrong crypto” is a pretty good one to have in comparison. If you are on the curation team, then I would suggest that you take the buy out offer because you will need reassignment following our new marching orders from the big boss @dan himself.
Logically, any upvoting or downvoting is not necessary becasue we are no longer funding global steem adoption because there are better financial opportunities in the crypto space. We can not recommend STEEM for anything but a social network, and Steem is great for that, but Steem as a currency has failed in the race to be the next big payments choice of the planet. I would make it 1/1 if I could afford it. I tried getting some some whale financial assistance for Steemjet, but not even our billionaire creator has love for our mission.
I am not removing the delegations because everyone is under contract. I can only fire people for poor performance after their contract has expired. I am a man of my word, so don't worry. Sound like something you a dim lanister can easily pay off in just 2 weeks of power down assuming all delegation have been taken off already but the power down to pay off completely could take a real long time since it is not everyone who will accept the choice of liquid steem and some will accept later as time goes on and that might become a problem
So if you can get 60,000 liquid steem available it can help you pay off it as it comes.

While the cash buy out offer is highly tempting (I could even buy a brand new phone or a pc with it right away), I would still choose delegation at this time as I have just invited some of my friends over to try the Steem blockchain this month and I have somewhat promised to support them as much as I can.

This is VALUABLE information. I met @dan in my dreams (after listening to one too many podcasts). I see where he is coming from, and I just also happen to be from there, and he was much more able to capitalize on the crypto bubble than I was for obvious reasons, but his heart was in the right place with STEEM at one point in time, and if he was here giving it his all, then we would have a chance to capiture some major market share of the payments network. STEEM will no doubt capture a small segment, but the only thing that matters is who wins it, because that is goin to be the next 20x
And if there is one natural law of this science that we all can recognise is the law of diminishing returns, and this means that over time, our opportunities to enter major markets ahead of the masses is only decreasing now that everyone is looking at the same few coins.

I am not giving up on using STEEM as a tool, but I cannot recommend it as a currency that is going to appreciate in value against LTC/DGB/etc.
We all will be better off if we can grow our wealth during this current bull market bubble, then re-purchase STEEM after The next crypto expansion cycle peaks.

I for one still believe that Steem will make it big a year or two from now.
From what I've seen and read on @steemitblog updates, right now their focus is mostly on improving Steem, i.e scalability, flexibility, overall performance, preventing things from being gamed, etc.. before marketing it on a global level.
Once they are finished by this and is ready to welcome millions of people to the Steem blockchain with no problems and with ease, then I "think" they will start to be more active in marketing Steem

How terrible that steemjet should go out, although I personally feel that it is a spark that will never die. What @dimimp has sown goes beyond the blockchain and is not easy to erase from the map. But I want to draw your attention back to the proposal the space force health department made and one of the aim was to promote good content on food and healthy eating. Wow this is hitting me like a shock. But when I got to read other comments , I realised that you are not quiting on steem but giving us the privilege of choosing between our sp and liquid steem. To be honest @god, I have worked tirelessly on this space force because of my love for the community. My DSP has made me unite with people, help them, lead them right, promote Steem and of course get upvotes. I can't see myself exchanging it for 200 Steem cos it still won't be enough to purchase Cryptos listed up there. In the long run, I'll see just little profits.
If there's anything I'll like to ask, that will be more delegated Steem power, I'll appreciate if you can grant me this.

What we are doing is an overall STEEM growth initiative where we trade STEEM for LTC/DGB while we watch physics in 3D to catch the next blockchain innovation (cheap global secure payments) before returning to buy more STEEM after the depreciating rewards curve flattens out a little. This is a halving penalty (bitcoin miners do not like this) on steroids (ok, it is not exactly one half, but it depreciates at an increasing annual rate until it reaches one half!)
This is just math, it is not that difficult to comprehend. I am not a genius, I got this stuff from bitcoin ben, the herd is beginning to turn!

First of all, I want to say that I'm happy to witness steemjet fly this far. It started like some form of illusion but with your commitment @dimimp as the prime mover and critical thinker and with the push of the tireless & hardworking spaceforce members who are pushed by real willpower, steemjet has been able to defy adverse weather conditions and soar to unbelievable heights.
Your plan has always been to build and not to destroy; to push towards global steem adoption by physically sending steem to people while letting them understand what steem can do for their lives. Personally, I'd say that this project has been a huge success. Many lives have been changed and hundreds have been pushed to the stage of financial freedom. A countless number of people have come to know steem because of steemjet. While others might choose to disagree with me, I'd rate the project a whooping 8 on a scale of 10.
Your decision to pay your delegates 1/6 of their delegation in liquid steem is what I cannot question since I believe that you must have given this a long thought before settling for it. Therefore while others may choose to bewail or groan, I remain neutral. Half of your brain may be dim but the other half responsible for thoughts and decision making is madeup of some superstar bunch of gray matter.
To summarize, I hereby wish to accept my payment in liquid steem. I'll use part of it to power up and divert the remaining to other promising crypto like LTC

I am a SF7 member and even know I didn’t have your attention (at least as much as I wanted) you probably know that by now by the tons of comments and a few mails I’ve sent, I am more that grateful for the delegation you gave me. I am under contact until 2019 and If it was up to me I wouldn’t accept any amount and would rather to keep the delegation as much as possible. I wouldn’t say no to a possible fund raise in my delegation also :P
The fact is the with your actions you made me believe and also dream big. Maybe I dont live in Nigeria but there are certain areas of Europe as well that exonomy is in the same mess...

Hello @dimimp..I am really sad that steemjet had to take this shape all because of a man's negligence. Isn't there a way we can combine the two? That is, investing into these promising cryptos and still keeping steemjet.. We can always use steemjet as a platform to publicize these promising crypto-curencies since we already have too many fans for steemjet already.
We have come too far to go back sir and taking away the Delegation will be like returning us back o square one and making us lose values in the eyes of those that look up to us.

For the second time you leave me in a state of dilemma, I'ma fan of LTC, because i believe so much in it's future prospects, you made me start seeing STEEM in a different way which i never did. We will not only be making some changes, we'd be making a big change since we are venturing into projects outside the blockchain.
The decision will not be an easy one to make.
Should i switch my delegated SP for liquid steem? Yes if i do that i will enjoy the profits that will come from my LTC investment, but how about the people i have invited to the community, how do i encourage them when i don't have SP?
Should I retain my DSP? Then i won't enjoy the benefits of investing in LTC and other coins too.
You're giving us an opportunity to enjoy our investment in other coins but with our DSP at stake.
What would you advice the security team to do at this moment? Since our job has a lot to do with steem power (downvoting/upvoting). I'm really confused right now. What else can i say, but a very huge thank you to you, you have been a source of inspirations and encouragement to many and i was not an exception. Through steemit i have learnt about other cryptos and has also invested in a few, although waiting like a patient dog for the bullrun. I hope i dont wait forever. We all here have tested the waters of hardness and the mere fact that you showed concern to redeem us is enough say thank you. I was among the first adopters of steemjet and was and always ready to work for the community. Being an SF 7 member and also in the health department, we worked to also take the knowledfe of crypto to the younger generation, that's why we embarked on the #SFHEALTH outreach, just to spread the idea and cause a mass adoption. Thanks @dimimp for all that you have done thus far. I still harbor hope for the future and may God bless your/our philanthropic efforts. A bit funny when I consider some of my actions to be charitable because I am too poor to even own my own transportation- a big deal as an American.
I do wish to remain part of Steemjet and had looked forward to the day of increasing my delegation. Since this is not possible, I'll gladly accept the liquid Steem you are offering.
I am not sure how we can contribute by using another cryptocurrency. This is the reason why I continue to promote Steemit and Steemjet. We can communicate and exchange here all over a blockchain. I honestly believe things would get better on Steemit. Through conventional social media (i.e. smiley faces) and management of followers to communities and personal pages. I still wish this for the future.

@dimimp I don't know if you will see this but we have ended the steemjet musical competition and part of the reward for the top ten contestants was a slot in the space force and with this coming up it's paramount that the contestants be provided a slot in the spaceforce.
@elijahlawrence emerged as the winner with other contestants taking the various other positions. Some are already in the space force so you can decide to increase their ranks.

We are equally disappointed at the fact that the creators and big beneficiaries of the steem block chain have turned their backs on the project but like you said time is money.
Steemit launched a large number of us into the cryptocurrency movement and steemjet has made us achieve much more than we thought we could.

Wow. This is hard to swallow. But one must act according to what's best for the future.
Unfortunately, I'm not in any of the spaceforce teams but I've participated in contests.
I was selected as a winner for the Minimalist contest but never got my reward.
Also, I submitted a logo for the SteemHigh contest back then which you loved and commented on accordingly. It took so much time and effort to create and I was looking forward to a reward which I didn't get :(
I'm not gonna go making demands cause that wouldn't be nice. But I wish you'd understand where I'm coming from and send me some steem, It'll make my day if you do.

oh man, i just spent almost 3 hours reading your post from @god account and all the comments! Sadly we are no longer working on steem mass adoption, but the good thing is now we will do that is the needed to be done. investing in other cryptocurrencies that have more potential then steem. I'm a member of sf6 and my contract will by 2022 as quoted by you! and I'm the only member I think whose contract is for this long time.
When it comes to selecting delegation or cash steem i will choose steem cash, The reason is I have some debts to pay and now the situation is too bad! can't tell you completely.
AS i already told you My contract was ending in 2022, so I request you to give me at least 1/2 on my delegation. so that I could pay me all debts and keep working on steemit easily. @dimimp my happiest moment was when I learn about steemjet and I was really happy that I have a place that I could display my talent but seeing this post I don't know what to do am really on shock.
Option 1 - Time is money, give me the cash, I need it now!
Option 2 - Give me the 600 delegated SP
Once you are a member of the Space Force, you are a member for life, weather you are under contract or not. Anybody can join the Space Force for free and help, but not everybody is getting compensated the same way. Some like spending their time upvoting and downvoting, and some people don't want to waste their time.
so I would ask of you if you could give me options to choose between this 2 option here
