First off, you SHOULD know that the Federal Reserve System considers itself as "an independent central bank because its monetary policy decisions do not have to be approved by the President or anyone else in the executive or legislative branches of government, it does not receive funding appropriated by the Congress, and the terms of the members of the Board of Governors span multiple presidential and congressional terms."  ~Wikipedia~

Now, doesn't that sound shady to you?
It should.

What this tells me is that a third party is involved in EVERY financial transaction I make.
I don't know about you, but I don't like this.

Why am I Excited about Cryptocurrency?

1. You can't just print out new currency. 
2. It can't be counterfeited.
3. There's no limit on your transactions.
4. Transactions can take place anytime.
5. Puts an end to "Lost Transactions".

I'm new and almost totally ignorant when it comes to cryptocurrency. However, with the help of Steemit and its powerful and very informative blockchain, along with its knowledgeable participants, I feel that I made a huge step towards the financial freedom that we all dream of.
