Gaddafi got killed in Libya for trying to change over to using gold for currency.
With all the new moves to change the monetary system, inside cyber space should be a safe place unless there happens to be an EMP. Could paper statements protect this system?
I know the Fed Reserve and the Saudi backed dollar will be bent out of shape , but it seems to be a way to keep the power neutralized. China is using there own as far as I know.

My thoughts exactly. Government's have done much worse (acts of aggression) to keep their monetary footing. I think we might see an EMP event in my life time -- I don't know how else the Central Banks can operate, let alone the governments who are now reliant on their frivolousness.
Notice how talks in Washington regarding EMP attack on the United States are increasing.

The thing that I can't understand is people don't realize that if Obama did not turn Poland down to set up the Iron Dome over there, we wouldn't have to worry so much about the EMP's. He spoiled that protection and deterrent program from even existing badly. That left Europe and us more vulnerable.

That is entirely possible and almost needed. It will be interesting to see if it would integrate with the same IT professionals without needing training, or if the design would need a new form of education like SAP was to AS400 users or UNIX would be to DOS/Windows users.
