STEEM Trading System (Dollar Cost Averaging Experiment) Day 10

The pump we have all been waiting for might just be here. Price were able to break out of the resistance at 1650 and have run up to the high 1800 to low 1900 range.

This is great news for the community because it will help increase users and engagement. More people tend to post as the price goes up because so do the rewards.

Trading strategy rules:

1. Use approximately 10% of the starting reserves (in BTC) per day to BUY STEEM when the price is BELOW a set value. In this case that will be the moving average (center line) on the Bollinger Bands using 1-Day candles on the chart. Each 10% chunk will be considered a "unit".
2. Sell ALL STEEM when the price is above the upper range of the Bollinger Bands (1-Day candles), or 10% per day when ABOVE the moving average (1 unit).
3. After 5 consecutive days of buying, reduce buy quantity in half (5% or 1/2 unit).
4. If price is within 10% of the ALL TIME LOW, and there is 50% (5 units) or less reserve BTC, then I am allowed to "go all-in".
5. "Buy below, sell above" is the golden rule.

The Moving Average is trending back up and is at 1656 Satoshis now. The upper ranges of the Bollinger Bands are around 1800 so since the price was well over that this morning I decided the best move was to SELL ALL units and wait for a reset on the graph (retracement). Once we fall back below the daily Moving Average I will start accumulating again.

So starting with $100 I was able to make a $7 profit in ten days, but since the price of BTC fell slightly the total portfolio is only $105.50.
