Sun/Steem Controversy | My 2 Cents

Like you I've been diving deep into this Sun/Steem controversy and the longer I look the more crazy its making me.

You already know the gist, so I won't summarize here.

But here is how I see it:

Justin Sun bought Steemit inc., and therefore the "ninja mine".
Ned never used the pre-mine for consensus voting, but if its not in the code, its NOT law.
Now that Sun owns Steemit inc., how they use that pre-mine is up to them.
This is scary and potentially financially damaging... but also potentially financially rewarding.

It is by no means a certainty that this Tron acquisition will benefit Steem holders, but I think we all need to take a breath and be patient.

If Ned had the keys to the pre-mine, then he owned that stake, and thereby had the right to sell that stake to Justin Sun, and Tron. I don't know what that will mean for my main crypto investment over the long run, but if I had to wager I'd say its long term beneficial... IF we can find a cooperative path forward.

I don't like that Sun used exchange funds to change the witnesses, but at the same time I don't like that the witnesses froze Sun's wallet.

This is craziness. This is wild. This is scary. Fortunately there is a path forward, if we want to find it. Fortunately, this trouble is drawing a lot of attention. We can use this for our betterment, if we are wise.
