It will be useful if steemit shown our voting power on the site so that we don't have to refer to an external site. Also for the uninitiated Voting power regenerates 20% per day and each vote depletes 2% of voting power.

@rudystyle There goes another vote wasted. LOL! Thanks for that info friend. :)

Thank you for clarifying this! I love your posts, very insightful and easy to understand. Looking forward to more. :D

That is super helpful because I was fairly confused by that as well.

Very useful post. Thanks so much for sharing this. I was actually wondering how fast Steem voting power regenerates.

Keep in mind they could do a hardfork and change the 5 days to whatever is agreed upon, but for now it's 5 days.

Thanks so much for that. I'll try to keep that in mind. Has the regeneration rate always been around 20% per day since the start?

Thx for the info.. tried to find it but didn't know the five days. Was it changed during last years? I am new so don't know history..

It is always good to post about this things due to the giant number of new steemit members recently.
We want make it easier to then to get use to so they may bring even more users, and soon Steemit will be the N 1° social network on the internet !!

I hope so brother, I'm ALL IN :)

lets empty our voting power then :)

Voting power regenerate at the rate of 20% per day. So give it some time to recharge so your vote will have more value at higher percentage of voting power.

sehr schön erklärt danke

you might be upvoting your followers too much! i mean, i'm not complaining, but maybe you should use your upvotes more sparingly :)

This is great, for some reason I thought it only took 24 hours for your voting power to return to 100%. When I stopped voting I realised this wasn't the case. Thank you for clarifying that it is 5 days :)

Helpful post. Great to see you being the 1% voter on the whole steemit.com website. Keep on helping new players, you are doing fantastic!

thank you for such a useful info i really dont know about it thanks clearly explained

Very useful! Thanks!

guys you can test your Steem voting power on this comment :p

Im learning to hold back on upvotes. Im almost replenished now

So, how many votes should we give out everyday? I mean the best practice or optimum amount, especially for new user like me. I don't want to vote if my vote don't mean anything (when my voting power around 0%) if you get what I mean.

Thanks for sharing, didn't know about this before

u are SO generous! 28% ;-)
thanks for the explanation ! Do you know what is the best amount to let it drop
to before you better stop and wait?

thanks for this post, is useful to newbies :D

I'm afraid to vote right now. The power of voice is so easy to lose, and it is so small ...

Thanks for the info. Sometime, i get confuse about steem voting power and steem power. Thanks for the info.

It's always good to see big accounts spreading the wealth! Thanks for the great explanation. I'm sure this will help a lot of newcomers in the Steemit community :)

Informative post

For me, HF19 is not working so well with regards to voting and voting power. You are giving people who comment on your blog a good % of your vote (i think 100% in many cases!) and getting smacked in voting power because of it.

I've noticed a great reduction in up-votes for comments overall. The bigger players are voting themselves and in their existing circles, the smaller players (less than 500 SP) cannot % their vote and so have to choose who they vote for (attract attention from) with their 10 votes. Can't blame the Whales or Minnows for this though, worrying times imo.

Your voting power is not only voting, but for your posts. If you have less voting power, your posts will start with less $.

yup. Clear and simple explanation

Thanks @inventor16 for sharing this.
I have a question about posting.
Would you please tell me that what type of post peoples like much cause i have been posting twice a day for a week but i didn't get that much good response?

I think people like posts about steem, crypto currency and travel/food blog and photographs

Thanks!!!

Thanks for telling us.

Thank you so much, @inventor16. Your post is very interesting and useful. I'm newbie on Steemit and this post will be useful to me. :D

You steem voting power might be low, but your support is high! This is a great explanation for the beginners here though since it super simple to understand! 100% upvote are the way to go!

Thanks for the info! I've heard from others that you can adjust how much of your voting power you use at one time. Do you know how that works?

This is helpful, and I need all the help I can get finding my way around here!

Thanks for sharing I really wish there was a better way to understand these rules of voting instead of having to type my questions in the search box, helpful post!
