Hot Steem App Series: #2 Steem.Chat(Tutorial Inside)

In this post today i will be talking about Steem.chat.This post is a continution of my series which I began yesterday.

What is Steem.Chat ?

Steem.Chat is an online chat community for all things related to the Steem blockchain. We are growing fast and have over 63K current members.

In short it where most of not all Steemians hangout or chat from.We all know that Steemit as a website does not have an embedded chat function in it.
It was because of this that @followbtcnews(owner) and @gandalf(developer) came up with Steam.chat to help connect Steemians through chat.

How Do I register for Steem chat?

For the old people,the name was changed from Steemit chat as you might now be confused of the two.Steemit.chat is now Steem.chat!

1. Type Steem.chat on the browser or just click on this link

You will be presented with this screen below.

2 Click on Register A New Account

You will be presented with this screen below.

As you can see,you will be required to input your name,email and password(this will be the password you will be using on Steem.chat).
Never enter your Steemit password anywhere on the internet apart from Steemit
Click on Register account and an email will be sent to you.

3. Click on the email address to confirm the account registration.

I expect you guys to follow this easily as I already have an account and i cannot show this details!.
Check your email messages and open the email from the Steem.chat. There will be a link that you needed to click or open to complete the verification process.

4. Verify Email and Choose a username

After you have verified your email,you will be asked to register/choose a Username for the Steem chat. Click the Use this Username after you have written the username that you wanted for the site.

You should always use or choose the same username as the one you use on Steemit for easy identification.If you want to reach me,i use jaraumoses .

After finishing all this,you will be redirected to Steem.chat now as I will show you mine when logged in.
You will be directed general chat and also guides information.You are advised to introduce yourself in general chat.
You should always read the rules of each and every channel before posting

As you can see from the screenshot below of mine,i have joined many channels as per my interests,it's the reason you see that search box there!!!

You are also free to choose the channels you are to follow.You can ask questions in the general channel,people are always willing to help me inclusive!

I guess you can now easily create a Steem.chat account and get connected to other Steemians.
