I noticed the same thing has been happening to me lately - what the hell? Sometimes it still gives a cent or 2, usually on smaller value posts, but it seems to regularly be taking 5-20+ cents off larger value posts I upvote, and still even more than my vote is worth on some smaller value posts as well, but not always. This is messed up. I thought like some that it was simply steem re-valuing as I posted or downvotes coming in as I voted, but it's been doing this for several days now, and I've been watching the number of votes (usually adds just mine, and no downvotes in sight since I've been trying to keep track, so it doesn't seem to be either of these possibilities.) So strange, and it really needs to stop!

I resteemed to try and get more coverage of this issue on steemit so hopefully it can get fixed, whatever is causing this. I'm kinda afraid to upvote posts now for fear I will be dinging decent chunks of steem value from good posts I'm trying rather to add value to... But then it doesn't always do it, just most of the time, so really hard to figure out what's going on. So messed up :(
