To quote a line from a great movie, and a great acting performance by Heath Ledger (Rip Heath) "Why So serious?" In this case why are you so intent to finish mowing the yard, when your life is in jeopardy?
What in the blue hell was this guy thinking at the moment, when this Twister was behind him? Here are several possible ideas, but I'd love to hear yours! Comment!
His significant other promised sexual favors for yard services rendered.
His neighbor did the yard first, so he obviously needed to catch up?
He doesn't know about the twister? (hasn't seen it yet?)
He doesn't deem it a significant enough threat at this point? It's not close enough, and may turn?
He is a thrill seeker? Seriously I even knew a former tornado chaser, and she not only tracks them days, weeks, months ahead, but as an eight year old helped to board up the house, and then was in the tree watching it approach.
He has a death wish, and his life is that bad that being sucked up would be an improvement? (scary thought)
It's supposed to rain tomorrow, so he really needs to get this done today!
The pool is being delivered in an hour, so I need to finish?
He bet the neighbor $100.00 he would mow the lawn, tornado be damned? Refuse to lose!
He is putting the lawnmower away, and then running for his life?
What's the big deal? After all, there aren't any SHARKS in this tornado! (Sorry had to do it)
What to you think about this picture? Any ideas of why this guy doesn't seem to care that his life is in imminent danger of ending within minutes at the most?
Thanks for reading!
