Although I don't agree with all of the ratings in this report, they do have it right with steemit. This is a functioning platform, with a large community, which all makes for a positive future. Also being listed on Binance doesn't hurt either.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
