Call to Action: Contact Exchanges and ask them to get STEEM Wallets back up and running!

in steem •  2 years ago

It's time to do our part to get STEEM wallets back up and running out at our favorite Crypto Exchanges!

If you haven't noticed by now, some of the biggest markets for STEEM haven't been open in terms of deposits or withdrawals for more than a week now...

While there may or may not be much that we can do about that currently, there is one thing we can absolutely do right now...

We can contact every single one of these Exchanges and ask them to get their STEEM Wallets back up and running!

If you are curious which ones likely have their wallets down, check the price and notice how it's trading significantly lower on the Exchanges that don't have wallets enabled:

Contact their customer support, chat, or leave a support ticket.

I've recently contacted MEXC as well as Bittrex.

How many can you contact?

It's important that STEEM isn't forgotten about as the crypto markets are likely starting to finally stabilize and potentially start climbing again.

Sort Order:

I want to contact Bittrex and Binance, I encourage all users in steem / steemit to contact crypto Exchanges to influence them.
It is important for investors to be able to transfer steem to their steemvallet to use the power of their SP to earn more from their investment. If it is not possible to make deposits / withdrawals directly with steem from the largest crypto Exchanges, steem will never return to the top 100 list

I want to call on @steemcurator01 @steemitblog and all the witnesses, something needs to be done

The Steemit / Tron team are currently contacting the exchanges about this issue.

binance-hot now works to transfer steem to the steemwallet in steemit 👍

Thank you for doing that @steemcurator01, and make sure you contact MEXC and Bittrex as well. Those are basically the only two Exchanges US based users can use to interact with STEEM.

Also, while we are on this topic, what do you or the steemit/tron team think about building a STEEM/TRX internal market on steemit, similar to the internal market for STEEM/SBD? That would help users go between steem and trx more seemlessly and provide more exchange options for users.

All the exchanges are being contacted.

An internal STEEM/TRX market could be useful.

A STEEM/TRX internal market could be very useful, who do we go about contacting to get this setup?

The idea is already with the Engineering team.

Dear @steemcurator01 ,how and when will i get votes from you ? ..thank you

That's fantastic! What are their thoughts on implementing it?

On Binance, all Graphene based chains are currently not available for withdrawal. They had told me that they were doing hot wallet maintenance when I reached out to them yesterday morning. Didn't get an ETA though.

This is sad. And this has been like this for a long time now, i believe this awareness could help.

Joining to you, I’m going to contact Binance ASAP

what could be the issue here?

Even though the volume is low, Probit continuously gave services related to steem. Binance, there were weeks which withdrawals were not able.

Good idea to do so, but did you and all the others have seen that the numbers on coinmarketcap are in 99% of th Steem/BTC and ETH values are incorrect ???

they should be around 0,0000107 and ETH at 0,0000155 !

Oh thank you @jondon for bringing this into everyone noticed!

I believe collective efforts/contact could change something about this, I can see some changes already through other's comments. However, the rest of the User's should rise up for the caused of Steem.
@xpilar thanks for bringing other's attention of others to this great post.

Yes I contacted their support a couple times as did a couple others, but thank you for reaching out like this! We have to stay on top of the STEEM listings and make sure they are all working.
