Can anyone tell me why earnings appearing on posts sometimes disappear?
On multiple occasions now I have seen my posts obtain upvotes at which point I had received a certain amount of earnings, generally in a range from 1 to 4 cents, and then over the span of the next few days some of those earnings that were previously there start to decline.
One post that I had with 4 cents from upvotes dropped to 2, I finally received a large upvote of $1.10 which within a few hours was down to $1.08, and there are several more like this.
Can anyone tell me why this is occurring and why my earnings keep slowly disappearing?
The same post that was once $1.10 is now down to $1.02. This is pretty annoying. How much more will it go down before it pays out? Almost annoying enough to the point of where I'm questioning whether I really want to continue using this site or not...

i believe it has to do with the current rate at which steem is worth go to
steam.supply
and you can see all of your upcoming payouts. it also has a graph of the current price of steem and that is what you get paid off of. it has been declining for around a week or 2. you can toggle between UBD and STU with the button below the graph to see payments split up.
i also use
steemd.com/@yourusername
to check on where your bandwidth limits are siting
if you follow me check through my posts and resteems and it should help you out

Is it because of the rewards for curators are split between voters, so more voters mean lower rewards for each? Someone can clarify?
