Thank you so much for this amazing post!

Is there a maximum amount of Steem coins that will be created (like Bitcoin has 21 million bitcoins)?

How does Steem mining work? Does it use proof-of-work or proof-of-stake algorithm or something else? Does the mining reward decrease over time?

If newly created Steem is given to content creators and people that hold Steem power, what incentives do the miners have?
