Someone actually need to turn their real money into Steem for it to be worth anything, and by my initial look at this platform, I haven't really gotten the impression that it holds much value at all. The model is weird to say the least. :O

And it seems to attract some kind of clickety-click crowd that is about clickety-clicking than caring about the articles. Which kind of proves the point..
