Rotifer Showing It's Cilia Crown - Rotifer Under a Microscope

In these recordings, you can see how the rotifer brings out its cilia hairs to draw food into its mouth.
In most rotifer species, the head carries a corona (crown) of cilia that draws a vortex of water into the mouth, which the rotifer sifts for food.
