An Open Letter to Berniesanders

Dear Bernie:

So out of curiosity, for those of us that already work and use VP to flag spammers, scammers, and the like, I was curious as to what else we can do?

I mean most of us are minnows or red fish (using the arcange system) and dolphins (many with votes sub 0.01) without the ability to really fight the likes of the big perpetrators.

You have many followers like this that fear revenge voting from bigger users that would be willing to help but are unsure and for this my question becomes, why don't you write a post (or get someone else to write one for you) on getting all of those smaller users battle ready... Sure their collective VP won't even touch a whale but ~500 votes spanning an average of 0.08-0.1ish would still be around $50 that will support you (understand that around $30 of that would be held by a select few, and the next 15 would be held by another group, and the last $5 wold be help by over 90% of the followers)

I guess what I am saying is that many users, from red fish (using arcanges system) to dolphins are willing to help make steem better but are more afraid to do something and you, knowing way more about steem than many on here, know enough that you could settle their fear and they would follow you...

For instance, many fear revenge flagging from users such as haejin or jerrybanfield but if there were 500-1000 people flagging a post (even if it were for tiny amounts) then the person getting flagged wouldn't be able to successfully revenge flag everyone back, at high values, without depleting their VP to nothing, and if they did flag someone then the 500+ people could then upvote and rebuild their members that had their rep drop and get depleted.

You have the following in which you could organize into an army... and I know the problem is that getting whales might be a better bang for your buck but I mean if you get enough minnows and dolphins then what are the chances that they might have connections to a whale whom might be willing to lend some voting power (little but still)

You, Berniesanders, have the potential to start a flame that could encourage millions (obvious hyperbole, but like your followers) to join your fight and if you get enough users fully backing you with their support then it only becomes a matter of time before others will reach out to help...

Encourage the minnows and dolphins to all flag together.
Make sure they know that if everyone joins in then revenge flagging will likely be impossible and that even if it happens the community can work together to repair those users.

You, at one point, were one of the largest users for steem/steempower and throughout all of your accounts you still hold a lot of money worth of steem/SBD, and a lot of your followers look up to you to help remove the crap from steemit...

I know I basically spent a lot of this repeating myself but my message holds...
