How do you delete a post on steem ?

Hey guys how do you delete a post on steem ?? I’ve tried everything but I cannot seem to figure it out

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    There is only edit option. Honestly i am thinking that you can not delete the post.

      it depends. after 7 days, the post can not be changed. Before that you have option to change it, usually people delete the content and change it to Deleted and Delete title as well. Why do you want to delete a post?
