steem is just having a temporarily boost from btc rising ... the main problem still exists; 90% of the voting power is in the hands of the 19 overlords ... new people will experience the same as 1 year ago; at first they'll think it's a great concept, until they realize that the whales hold all the power and are heavily abusing it and that their downvotes are pure censorship

as in; there's a lot of enthusiasm now, but in a few months it will be gone again, as steemit is not what it claims to be ... it's wishful thinking
