Ned Lays Off 70% of Staff. Time to Capitulate.

We had this thing before, that time it was Dan and EOS and that he may just recreate something like Steemit on EOS. Did not happen. But people powered down, me too. Pointless it was. Steemit is not Steem, and even if Ned screws it up (which more or less is half way done anyway), Steem will still be there, so will be EOS. Nothing really to gain in the moment from such activities and in 3 months not much will have changed in terms of eventual alternatives. So better hold your feet still and watch the show :)

I'm surprised this caught someone's eyes, I ahrdly get readers / viewers anymore. EOS is actually what I am migrating mostly into. I see EOS having ALOT more potential than STEEM. Especially when STINC and Wintesses are out of touch with each other and posters. STINC fails to deliver on promises, and when they release updates Witnesses skip over them to prioritize bad decisions like increasing inflation during a winter.

It's kind of overall depression everywhere. You can also find this in Crypto groups in FB and elsewhere. It all went quiet, so did Steemit. Can't really blame Ned for this. I follow here some of the "news aggregators" to stay informed and then occasional write or comment. Mostly delegating SP for the returns, small, but hey, does not take much time. And I wait for the overall market, that is basically BTC to recover one day. Till then, I watch the show ;)

Crypto groups I am a part of are not so depressed, just aren't Bullish on STEEM. I mean long term yeah but next few months I see better opportunities in EOS as many more VCs back the projects building on top of them.
