The Reward Balance Is At ~930,000 STEEM Right Now, Up About 150,000 From The Usual

Steem usually cranks out about 770,000 STEEM per week. Because of the hardfork last week, the blockchain basically ground to a halt with over 99,9% of users incapable of doing anything at first. When the Resource Credit System rebalanced gradually, more people started to post and upvote. Because the system works on a moving average basis, the rewards do not immediately go up when activity goes down. There is a surplus of STEEM in the reward pool and it's spilling over now. There's a serious flood of STEEM over at the pool! Please get off your butts, take your cups with you and get interacting!
