I was trading steem on bittrex about three (3) weeks ago and ran into trouble. It was difficult for me to figure out how to do the transfer. Firstly, I tried to transfer 3 steem, but the transaction was unsuccessful. Up till now my 3 steem is 'lost'. Crying out for help was inevitable and that was exactly what I did. Thank goodness, @leongkhan quickly came to my help in this post. The link to the guide he gave me was what I used and subsequent transactions were successful. The challenge I had that day inspired me to do a video tutorial on how to transfer steem from bittrex/poloniex to steemit account.

I hope this video tutorial will be of value to someone out there.

is it a good idea to show everyone your account keys in the video?

To buttress my point , @quantumpoker, here are your public keys from steemd.com

Note: The padlocks, meaning that your private keys are securely locked and wrapped up in the public keys that everyone can see, because the steemit algorithm is open source.

ok... glad you are safe... I'm new at this steemit game so wasn't sure... still have lots to learn i guess...

Alright. I understand. I can state emphatically that you are not alone in this. For me, steemit is a school. STEEM ON!

A very warm welcome to steemit! Enjoy the ride.

@quantumpoker thanks for the wonderful question. I refrained from not showing the public this video for 3 weeks, especially because of that part of having to reveal keys. However, after due consultations and research, I realized that it's 'safe'. The keys that were revealed are all public keys, not private. Anyone's public keys, including yours, can easily be found on steemd.com . Meanwhile, if I suspect any theft attempt, I'll change my password , which will automatically change all other keys (I think).

@maryfavour If you have any experience with transferring Steem from Genesis Mining, that would be awesome too. I am still working through a train wreck of a transfer....

@chefcryptoshark thanks for your comment. I will do my best to try that out and then post it. It would really be my pleasure to help. STEEM ON!

Thx great work
