Shahbagh protests have begun in the middle of the night to demand violence against police and students in the field of violence.
The police dispersed the protesters by throwing tear gas and batoning in the eveningThen they started gathering in Shahbagh and TSC area of Dhaka University. Students vandalized the university's VC building and set fire to cars and furniture.
Tarique Hasan Nijhar, journalist of an online portal from the scene said that the activists of Chhatra League also attacked them on the TSC. At one stage, thousands of students from the students' halls gathered in the TSC.
At around 2 in the morning, he said that police have been running teargas from around four and BCL activists killed the brick kiln. There are several thousand students staying in the TSC area. At around 1:30 in the morning, Joint Secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanak on the Dhaka University campus proposed to discuss at 11am on Monday.
Nanak told reporters on condition of anonymity that a long time quota system has created dissatisfaction among ordinary students. The Prime Minister ordered to resolve the matter and resolve it..!!
