I signed up for Steem when it was just rolled out about one year ago. The content was still poor and people where trying to figure out how to use it. I went weeks , months not checking in and now finally I can see the enormous potential. Especially now with the mobile eSteem app, the option to follow Steemers and the image uploads. It makes platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, 4Chan, Instagram, Snapchat etc etc obsolete! True innovation from the bottom up, that is what this is, with the potential for really great minds to earn money in an honest and democratic way. Goodbye to the bosses,owners and the middlemen, hello Steem!
I had the same feeling back in 2016 when all started. Steemit has matured and is much better than traditional social media.
