steem Fan Interest in “Superman: Son of Kal-El”
in the latest Superman Homepage Member Poll we asked you the following question:
Even though it’s taking the place of the “Superman” title, the new ongoing series
“Superman: Son of Kal-El” appears to be a title that comic book fans are looking forward to reading,
with 25% saying they’ll definitely read this book.
Admittedly there are a large number of fans who are unsure at this point in time,
with 19% undecided on whether they’ll read the book or not. I guess we’ll find out come July when issue #1 hits.
First thoughts for me were to look at this initially like reading a Superboy title (there have been a few of those!
), or like Reign of the Supermen, or an ongoing Elseworlds…..
many of us have found the fun in those stories before, so as long as they tell some good stories I am sure this could be the same.
Eventually the title will be back to Kal-el, all these experiments, no matter how good the story, eventually come back to the Superman.
