Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    That could be part of the reason. Resteem services also dish out 300 worthless votes for 1 or 2 SBD.
