So I am still pretty new to steemit, have a bunch of projects in the works, am trying to figure out how it all works together and a bunch of other shit too.
Occasionally I get a little bit frustrated at what I see as garbage posts making thousands or tens of thousands and my bleeding heart autobiography that took me a day to plan and a day to write barely scratched pennies.
But then I stop and think, I realize that it does not matter what others door in this life, you can only control yourself.
So I read a nice post by @metama just now and this was my reply:
Lol man, I really enjoyed reading this. It was like two articles; one before and one after the video. Had me damned confused for a second. But the second bit was as good as the first and the segue makes sense to me now. It felt like a non-judgmental example of what could be done and a super friendly invitation to join dialogue on the topic. 🙌
I still feel super new to steemit and occasionally I feel like there is an equal amount of garbage posts here as there is on other platforms. But just like you say and just like my own experiences have shown me, quality will win out in the end.
But it is interesting how the spectrum here is measured (the quality spectrum I mean) . Not just arbitrary thumbs and hearts, but tangible wealth is rewarded as well.
Winners focus on winning and losers focus on winners. Just do what you do, the best you can with what you have and the universe will look after you. Find happiness within yourself and nobody can take it, even if you are about to die, unless you give it willingly.
Sheesh, I got to rambling there a bit. 😂
