What Does Decentralization Mean To Me?

I think of decentralization as free will.
Everything is out there, on the public, and you get your free will to do OR not to do something. :)

Its totally different from 'security'. The 'security' is more kind of 'centralized' thing.

Security within any decentralized network is still hugely important.

Say for example someone was to purchase a controlling stake in a network and use that influence to make changes to benefit only himself.

If that's allowed, then users will no longer trust the decentralized network and it won't be long before it crumbles.

Hmm. True indeed. 🤔
