It is kind of weird to vote for oneself, especially when you got great SP. It sounds subjective.

It makes comments more visible if you wish them to be, but most whales tend notto upvote their own comments. It is strange to me that there is no auto upvote for comments available though.
Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
