Should you write about what you love or what pays the best? Honestly, it has to be a combination of the two in order for the creative process to be sustainable. I love data so i decided to check out what tags have decent payouts and whether there are any that are within my interests of forex, travel, photography, art and life tips.
I've filtered the tags to show only those with at least 1,000 posts. It's an arbitrary number. There are some tags with a high payout to post ratio but skewed by very few posts. Hope you all find this useful!

I'm new to steemit, so I'm reading up on how things work. I read elsewhere that steemit doesn't really differentiate between an original post and a comment. Comments can earn steem, too, right?
Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
