Is Steemit aging?

There was a time people clamor to promote Steem gleefully and joyfully and at-will, Facebook, Twitter and all platform felt the power of hardcore Steem promotion. Day in day out, people spread the word and preach it, at least in the region of the world I reside, its was a big deal.

Then it all stopped, all came to a halt even before the long Bear run. Right from the day when the price of Steen skyrocketed, the influx of new users became proportional to inactive users that is, they come and go after a few weeks or so. Not that there was false marketing of Steen but the expectations never matched what people envisioned, like some get rich quick scheme or ponzi.

High Reputations and High Steem Power all don't matter anymore, people already found solace somewhere else and in several projects hence the rate of activities declined. Unless you are some whiz coder and you could come up with another dapp built on the chain, whales don't seem to care, they are allegedly the reason why Steem never matched its potentials in terms of price.

With the decay rate in activities, the believe in Steemit and its tokens kept decreasing, that's why you could find too many Steem floating around on exchanges, price keeps falling with no sign of increase.

Any long term investor would want a marginal growth in their investment Right?

We hoped for Smart Media Tokens to come to the rescue but it never did up until now, MIRA is too technical for an average user to comprehend and SMT seems to need it to function.

The aging is on and all fingers crossed !
