Humanitarian Programs At SOS Children's Village, Banda - Aceh, Indonesia With Oracle-D

Welcome to the 27th update of Oracle-D Campaign powered by Fundition - A Decentralized Crowdfunding Platform on STEEM Blockchain. On 22nd October, we visited one of the SOS Children Villages in Banda Aceh, Indonesia to explain the opportunities and benefits of Blockchain Technology. And how they can leverage STEEM to manage some of their programs to help 2004 tsunami victims especially Children and their families. We have mentioned @Fundition as a major crowdfunding platform for their various campaigns that would affect hundreds and thousands of lives.

Just after we delivered the Blockchain seminar at Malikussaleh University, we decided to visit to SOS Children's Village with the help of @mariska.lubis and @fararizky. At first we met the children at one of the villages and then discussed about Blockchain with SOS CV members who are helping and supporting various local programs. Things we discussed and explained during the meeting with the CV members:

• What is Blockchain Technology and Bitcoin? Introduction to tokens, ICO etc.
• Introduction to STEEM and STEEMIT
• How to buy/sell or invest in cryptocurrencies?
• How to earn Steem through content creation?
• How SOS Children can leverage Steem Blockchain to manage its programs?
• Introduction to @Fundition and other projects on Steem Blockchain

We also helped a few members of SOS CV management to join the blockchain using our newly claimed accounts through RCs we have. It was amazing to onboard many users quickly in a matter of few minutes! Please checkout a few pictures taken during our discussion with the team:
