Snowballing!

Last week, I did a post about the snowball effect of Steem. You can find the link to it, here.
Well today, I want to show the progress I made here in less than a year without any investment.

Like everyone, I started with 15 SP that was delegated to me. So this Steem Power wasn't mine, and I needed to share curation with that. It was hard to get noticed at first, but my persistance got me through it. I kept commenting and upvoting others, and I gained a following. With help from some services like SteemEngine and SteemFollower. By this, I want to thank them for providing these services. They gave me a lot more followers and upvotes, which helps off course. Fact is, it doesn't cost you a single damn thing to sign in and use them, so do that, people!

Lately, I have been using SmartSteem to auto-upvote some posts. This gives me a nice return in Steem and SBD AND curation on those votes. Again a win/win. So go check that out too! I have nothing but good to say about this. Every minnow should use SmartSteem.

Posting and commenting almost every day!

But what has brought me most? Posting and commenting continuously. One to three posts a day, is definitely necessary to keep your name circling around the feeds. But this only works, if you produce decent content. Sure, I have written some crappy posts. Hasn't everyone? Not every day is the same, right! But sometimes, when I think nothing is going to happen, a post gets rated and upvoted much more than I ever wondered. Why? I have no clue. We just can't read other people's minds about what they will enjoy or find interesting. That is why you need to keep posting. You will get your upvotes, eventually. And don't be bothered by the crap some whales post and get huge rewards for. That energy you put in there, is just wasted. Put all your energy in posting and being witty or clever or just plain serious... Whatever suits you best!

My progress?

Have I done exceptionally well, here? No, but I am not complaining. Imagine Steem being at 6 USD. That means my SP is worth about 9000 USD, right now! Ok, Steem is at 1,50 USD now, but it will go back to 6 USD for sure! So, I will keep on Steeming! Who knows what my Steem Power will be in a year from now... I don't know, but I bet at least times two! So that is my aim for next summer. At least 3000 SP! Wish me luck!
