The @Italygame and @Time.foundation witness teams have together launched a new Steem based gaming site - Steem-Retrogames.

The Steem-Retrogames site hosts...

'Retrogaming' style games, inspired by coin-op arcade games and the first home consoles, widely popular from the '70s to the end of the last millennium.

The games can be played either in recreational'mode for free, or in competitive mode, by purchasing a token for 2 STEEM.

2. SBDs & Upbit

The Korean exchange Upbit announced today that it will cease trading of SBDs on 12 February 2025...

• Notice of Termination of Steam Dollar (SBD) Trading Support (2/12 17:00)

SBDs are still tradeable on the HTX exchange (formerly Huobi), and the internal market.

There has been considerable movement in the price of SBDs, both upward and downward, since Upbit announced their review of SBDs on 30 December 2024.

It is hoped the price will stabilise again soon as a new market reality is established.
