Today Steemic Inc entered into a partnership with Justin Sun's Tron.
Ned Scott, co-founder of Steem and Chair of Steemit Inc sold Steemit Inc to Justin Sun of Tron.
So far, apart from Ned's single tweet, there have been no official announcements from the Steemit Inc team on the @steemitblog account or on their Twitter account.

That is the story so far as it has played out on Twitter. There have been no other announcements from the Steemit Inc team on Steem or on Twitter.
This of course has left a lot of questions unanswered.
