The Steemit Crypto Professors have released a new set of lessons for the week.

This week @besticofinder is going deeper on how to invest in cryptocurrencies, @gbenga is taking an introductory look at DeFi and Yield Farming, @sapwood is looking further at the Steem Blockchain particularly Inflation, Recovery Accounts and Encrypted Messages, @stream4u delves into Money Management and Portfolio Management, and @yohan2on is taking a more in-depth look at Stable Coins.

All the Professors set homework tasks that can earn upvotes from the @steemcurator accounts.

2. Steem SEA Community Gathering

The Steem SEA Community had a very successful gathering in Pidie Jaya district, Aceh on Sunday.

Around 30 people attended the meetup including a number of members with their families and there was a lot of useful discussion about how to expand the community and grow Steem in Indonesia.

3. Steem for Better Life's first beneficiaries

Program Manager @el-nailul has announced the details of the first three beneficiaries of the Steem for Better Life humanitarian aid project in Aceh, Indonesia.

Around $700 raised by @steem.amal is to be shared between Manfarisyah, a fruit salad seller whose husband has passed away; Muhammad, a farmer who volunteers as a teacher at a local orphanage; and Dedi Winardi, a teacher who sells sugar can juice to supplement his income...
