I agree Brian, some days I honestly believe the Bitcoin developers are asleep at the wheel. I'm #teamLitecoin too! How could BTC not get ahead of a block problem that was exponential? The developers of BTC should have seen the writing on the wall when more and more people started joining the network the last couple of years and they should have known it wasn't going to scale as it was. Hopefully, they're finally addressing the scaling problems/ block sizes. Roger Ver love him or hate him saw an opportunity to capitalize as an entrepreneur on poor BTC development, satisfying market demand for a more efficient network with lower costs. Although, I'm not really sure we can say for certain whether the BCH Network will scale properly unless BCH grows into the beast that Bitcoin is today. Thanks for checking out my post man, nice to see you over here!
I have been in crypto since 2013 and in 2015 the scaling debate was going pretty hot and I was even exhausted with the core team then. Some guys wanted to move on like Gavin Andresen and scale it and even though he was one of the main guys the others wouldn't go along with him. It was very frustrating.
I like Litecoin way better than Bitcoin. The Bitcoin core developers have made me almost blow a gasket in the past few years.
