Steem is infact an innovative and potentially world changing platform. Im not much of social media person, but it is a shame that much of the interaction on other platforms can tend to be (passive) aggressive. I think people are generally good, but many are simply conditioned to poor (or not the most positive) behavior by the very structure and allowances of other platforms of interactions on the net. Given this, I really look forward to the inclusion to a detailed and comprehensive "welcome" message for newbies that is prominent and easily accessible. The message should make the social consensus of Steemit very clear.

Totally agree ..newcomers would certainly benefit from some tips upon entry ..the first of which should that they learn how the system works and why it is so, before they become confused .. frustration often leads to upset.
