Hey Jeff, you are no fucking slouch. You show up on steemit and only a matter of days you give it the hypeshit treatment. I am glad you are here and actually delving into the intricacies. Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
