I’ve initiated a local decentralized farmers market here in Gothenburg, Sweden. It’s on Facebook for now but I've started working on integrating it into the Steem blockchain. It’s a new phenomenon here in northern Europe but it's really spreading like wildfire!

The demand for locally produced food is higher then ever! We are growing rapidly and got over 3000 members. The concept is a simple but ingenious one that solves the problem small farmers has reaching out with their goods to their customers. With REKO the farmers get free exposure for their goods without any 3rd parties involved.

How does it work?

The farmer post about their goods in the group and then you just comment what you would like to order. Every Thursday between 6-7 pm everyone meets up at the same place in the city. Everything is pre-ordered so no waste nor any need for permits

It's an effective way for the farmer as they don’t have to stand all day on a market but just for an hour. It’s also social and you get to know the person responsible for the food you buy and can ask questions.

An event is linked to the group with a map to the meet up point.

wow and we can combine this with the first steem powered restaurants popping up, i want mobile food carts and yeah VENDING MACHINES that let people stock them up, and allows for a consignment system, where anyone can sell their items others can buy them,
but yeah we can have mobile food carts, pay users to staff them and get staff to do all the labor for a wage paid for in steem and everything will be in steem and SBD and we can allow restaurant owners of enterpeneusr all over teh world to pop up and start selling food with Steem/SBD and we will watch as more and more people all start preferring to use their steem accounts to buy food, people will see it as a way to eat for free, they wont consider these internet steem tokens as very real UNTIL we start offering the ability to also cash them OUT for a fee, actually ANY cash register can become a Bitcoin/altcoin steem ATM

decentralized agribusiness financed by steem cryptocurrency, lets partner with big sweedish messaging app, like @mughat was saying dash should just buy an existing payment processor, add dash, steem could allocate a piece of witness pay or reward pool to buy our own message service like whatsapp to use steem!

Hi @reko, heard you on the @ma1nevent show last night.

These Decentralised Farmers Markets really are a good idea. Is there any risk that the local authorities / council track where the meet up points are and decide to call them markets so you need permits etc?

Do you change the location each time?

Hey @pennsif! The smart thing with this concept is that you don't need a permit as everything is pre-ordered which also minimizes the waste. We have the same location in the middle of the town but also had meet-ups in my part of town.

Ah very nice maybe I will pay someone to work on something like this for me, a decentralized lottery system

a lottery bot, steem lottery bot, maybe i can have it work on a raffle, i want Golos raffle;es too

maybe @btcvenom at @paywithsteem can enable a special Pay with Golos system for Golos users and port everything hes done so far to work on Golos
