The crypto market has definitely turned around and considering the stats below things are looking real bright for the Steem blockchain so it looks like we're heading for new heights...

We are in a new up trend with a rising price, new users are streaming in and activity is high...

CUI Meter = A ratio of blockchain daily activity to total blockchain capacity...

The Steem blockchain is at 0.14% of it's capacity with the number one highest activity, double that of Ethereum and BitShares...

Steem now got almost more than 50% of total activity for the most active blockchains...

Imagine if STEEM would take more of the total market cap, it isn't that far fetched if you look at activity and utility of the Steem blockchain...

@reko.This is eye opening. Steem now have an Alexa rating of 1016 and active users of over 400,000.This is the place to make money doing things you love writing about.It good news to know Steemit is growing leaps and bounds.

I look forward to reading your posts :) Hope the weather is decent where you are for dumpster diving! Agh, I went dumpster diving in my own dumpster because something of value had to be retrieved. I have no problem dumpster diving, BUT it is tough when the weather is -15 lol Have a great day!!

Good news, Amazed at the total account being +750k. Was confused by number of active users in title being so much higher. Then noticed active users in article at about 430K. Its good to see more then 50% staying engaged. Thanks for info.

Great write up. Made for an interesting read.
If BTC & others are now taking off again(?) with stats like that it is hard to see Steem not making a huge leap sometime soon.

I'm not sure what 'event' would cause a drop to red line?

Great information @reko ... For perspective, on Y**Tube a single channel like TYT has 3,500,000 subscribers, and Steemit currently has 4,33,000 Active Users.

Whilst 433K is a remarkable number, just think of the growth potential. Anybody already here is an early adopter, and every Whale, Dolphin and Minnow will rise on that incoming tide

Excellent post with a lot of information; however, what do you think about the current model of Steemit (here, I am referring to the problems arising from upvoting / promoting content which is senseless)?

In my opinion, the long-term prospects of Steemit would be very hampered because these bots / automated voting algorithms are essentially stripping content producers from the ability to earn profits... it would appear that very few people actually read the articles... now you just enter those bots and you vote and upvote with complete disregard to the content. In the long-term, I doubt Steemit can match its idea / goal if this keeps going.

Note, I remember there was another website (Bubblews or something of the sort) which failed based on the same key mistake. We (the authors) would form groups (analogous to the automated voting) and we would just upvote each other and promote our articles for quick profits. However, that meant no original content. I do hope they fix this.
