Steem and Ethereum comparism

Helloo all my fellowers, what do you see in common between steem and ethereum? I have noticed quite some similarities between these two coins hence why I decided to ask this question to know what other people think about them..

Platform

Ethereum is a smart contract platform. Apps can be built on it. Steem is not a smart contract platform but apps are equally built on it leading to decentralization of such app.

Means of Value Exchange

Ethereum is a cryptocurrency that can be accepted as money and so is steem. Ethereum costs some gas for transactions but steem does not cost anything for transactions. This means that steem is cheaper for transaction than ethereum and is better suited for micro-payments.

Transaction Time

Transaction time with steem is in seconds but so is also ethereum. However, when ethereum platform is congested, the transaction time can be greatly increased. This gives steem a greater advantage here because steem processes millions of transaction in seconds without delay.

Total Supply and Price Analysis

The total supply of steem today is 257,718,807 while that of ethereum is 94,537,517. Going by these supplies, If steem is to be same price with ethereum today (which is $276.2 now), the price of steem would be $101. This is about 79 times of the current price of steem which is at about $1.27. When you look at the above comparisms and similarities between ethereum and steem, you now come here to wonder why such a discrepancy in price. Why does ethereum have almost 79 times the price of steem? I leave you to fill this gap.

Community

I think the steem community is higher than ethereum community. I stand to be corrected. If you put all the communities of steem and join it to the community on home app called steemit, then I believe steem community will be bigger than that of ethereum.

Immutability,

Both are immutable as they are all decentralized platforms.

Conclusion

I believe that steem is greatly undervalued at this moment. Every investor should consider buying steem at the current price. It can only increase in price. I see this coin far above ten dollars in one year time from now.

Steem and etherium are both decentralized platforms and apps can be built on their blocks.

Steem however, has a lower acceptance rate at present, and also has not been able to move into the bigger leagues.

Also, there is the issue of inflation, since steem tokens has no limit, many questions arise,

Who says that steem tokens has no limit? I think there is a cap on the maximum tokens that can ever be produced.

I'm a believer Ethereum and Steem are different beasts. I think one aspect people are not considering is the growth effect and relation to SEO. If Steem can provide strong SEO to it's articles then more people would be incentivized to invest in Steem so more than just the community sees the articles.

I would like to see more technical improvements to Steemit to attract more people. I know this business minded approach isn't as popular as this isn't a corporate site but service providers whose businesses are built on relationships could benefit greatly from Steemit.

Steem related investment did not get that. I would like to learn from you. I hope your assistance. Thank.
