Buying bitcoin, Steem, etc HELP!

Where/how is best place to buy coins these days?

Before I would use Coinbase to buy BTC and then send to exchanges for my coins.

I'm close to completing my shopping list. What are the best options these days for buying in with my useless fiat collection?
