One month steemit. Thing every minnows (newbies) should know.

Hello steemians it's already one month passed that i joined steemit community. It's a whole new world for me. I'm cryptocurrency lover and i believe blockchain and cryptocurrency will change our future. So today i want to talk about my experience about steemit community like a one month review or something.

Let's start how i meet steemit

First i saw steemit on facebook, actually i didn't lot pay attention first, it was some ref link or something, i don't know but someone was promoting steemit on facebook. Post was like "we are making hundred bucks a day just writing, commenting, and upvoting" so i just registered but that time i don't know much about steemit and like a half month passed and i was checking my e-mail and saw steemit approved my account. Back then i was curious about what steemit actually is. So i logged in my account and first i saw was @kingscrown post i don't know about the content because i was to focused on amount of money that post making lol :)). Was $100+ when that time i became lot interested in steemit. That day i saw many posts they made 10 bucks 100 even 200 bucks, You know i think no one stay still when you saw something like this. And that day i write my very first post it's about " what cryptocurrency will make higher profit in 2018" actually it was like discussion. I think 2 or 3 people upvoted my post but i didn't see movement in my pending payout that time i thought 1 upvote worth like 0.01$. I don't know about steemit because it was my first day. I don't know about how upvote work, and what is steempower even SBD is thing that i don't know. Forget about dtube, chainbb, and more. Even still i don't fully understand it. Ok let's talk about things that i learned in month.

3 Steemit Currency

First you need to know there is 3 type of currency in steemit.

1. Steem
2. Steem Dollars
3. Steem Power
   These 3 currency is one of the important part in steemit.

Steem
Steem is just like regular cryptocurrency you can buy and sell using exchanges. Basically main coin in steemit community. And you can transfer steem to other users without fee.

Steem Dollars
SBD is second currency in steemit. Just like steem you can buy and sell through the exchange like bittrex, poloneix, hitbtc, (don't use poloneix, hitbtc exchange for now they stopped withdrawal option ) and Blocktrades.
Few things different than steem is you will paid SBD for your author and commentor reward.

Steem Power
I think SP (Steem Power) is one of the most important thing in steemit community. And most of steemit complications start here. I will explain this as much as can.
For author
Example- When you write some post and it gathered around 1$ upvote from your readers. Then you need at least 7 days need for get your author reward.
Weeks later before you paid your reward will divided.

1. Curators get 25% of your reward (i will explain later how curation work)
2. Your reward will divided again 50% SP 50% SBD you can use SBD immediately but SP you can't use it at least 2 year.
   So your post paid around 0.25 SP to curators who upvoted your post.
   1$/2=0.5SBD 0.5SP
   Then divided again SP= 0.5/25%=0.125 0.5-0.125=
   Your actual payout is SBD=0.5 SP=0.375
   SP will help you to grow in long term.

Steem Power is voting weigh
Steem power will decide your influence in community. How much SP you have your upvote worth that much.
Maybe you heard word about Wales, and Dolphins and minnows. First i saw these word i didn't quite understand. Maybe because i'm not native speaker. I was like "WTF with this fish world is there some fishes are hanging around" later i found about what that fish words are mean. So it was not some fishes hanging around here. Wales are people who have lot SP in their account. There vote is worth 1$,10$ even 50$. Think about it only 1 vote is worth that much if they upvote 10 posts a day basically they are giving 500$ a day lol. I think maybe my second or third post got upvoted by @tamim. Who have lot SP in his account. Thanks for @tamim. There is lot of wales in steemit. If you get upvote from them it's your lucky day or your post was interesting. But currently lot of steemit wales are using their SP for upvoting bot.

Curation
Curation reward is one of important thing. As i said before every authors posts 25% SP will divided to curators who upvoted posts. But it's little tricky when upvote post within 30 min you won't paid SP. Who upvoted post within 30 min will considered donations to author. If you upvote later than 30 min you will paid SP but i don't exactly know how this dividend work. I think it's related with voting power and weigh because who have more voting weigh are paid more reward in my experience and in latest fork 30min changed to 15 min but i forget where i saw about this sorry. Anyway curation is working like that even though is still unclear some factor .

Useful tools in steemit

There is lot of useful tools in steemit if you are new you should know this.

1.Upvote bot

In steemit there is exist upvoting bot you can get 160%+ profit using these type bot.
Simply sending SBD to bot account and get upvote exchange. Example if you send 1SBD you will get min 1.60 SBD worth upvote exchange.

But know this it's not 1:1 upvote exchange only good, and interesting post will get upvote.
Basically you need to upvote 10 posts daily and you will get upvotes but it's not give you exact same amount upvote maybe sometimes you will get higher amount, somethimes give you lower amount it's all depends on your post

3.Steem stats tracker
