Canelo Vs GGG (Supremacy) - Odds and Outcome
The Steemit community knows by now that I am not a big fan of the up coming fight between Floyd Mayweather vs Conor Mcgregor in August. Just to be clear, I'm a big fan of the notorious and would love to see him stun the world and put my money where my mouth is. As a boxing fan, I know the odds are against him. You have a better chance of winning the lottery instead of seeing Mcgregor win against one of the best pound for pound in boxing history. So I want people to know that this fight will be a disappointment. BUT there is a fight this September staring the best middleweights that boxing has to give, Saúl 'Canelo' Álvarez Vs. Gennady Gennadyevich Golovkin AKA Triple G.
The fight is set to happen September 16, 2017 at the T-Mobile Arena, Paradise, Nevada, U.S. Almost all tittles are on the line when it comes to that weight-class in boxing, WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, and IBO titles are up for grabs. These two guys are power punchers. This fight is set to be a slobber knocker and shouldn't be missed by all fight fans. Here is a look at both and my thoughts on this fight.
Tale of the Tape

Turning pro at the young age of 15, Canelo is experienced for his age. With his only loss coming form the hands of the great Floyd Mayweather Jr. on September 14, 2013, Canelo has been on a roll in dismantling his opponents. Canelo has faced some of the best in boxing. Opponents like Miguel Cotto, Amir Khan, Shane Mosley, Carlos Baldomir and his last opponent, the son of a legend, Julio César Chávez Jr. Triple G is posipley the most dangerous fighter that Canelo has faced. Reminder, that Canelo has destroyed some of the best like Kirkland with a devastating K.O. Canelo is slow on his feet, but makes it up when it comes to power.
Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin
Born: 8 April 1982
Age: 35
Country: Karaganda, Kazakh SSR, Soviet Union
Height: 5ft 10in
Reach: 74in
Fights: 37
Won: 37
K.O.s: 33

Lost: 0
Total Rounds: 172

Triple GGG is dangerous, I mean very dangerous. Before the Daniel Jacobs fight this past March, Triple G was on a streak of 23 knockouts from 22 November 2008 to 18 March 2017, with a knockout percentage of 89.8%, a middleweight record. Unlike Canelo, Triple G has faced some decent opponents such as Kell Brook, David Lemieux and Daniel Jacobs. This past March, Triple G finally went the distance in a 12 round bout with Daniel Jacobs in MSG, showing that Triple G is human and breakable. Canelo without a shadow of a doubt is his toughest opponent to date.
Odds
This will be a good fight. There will be thunder and leather contact like no other. It would be no surprise if both boxers come out being conservative and cautious. These two are known for not being conservative for along time as time goes by. By the 5th round, you will be seeing fireworks.
The odds are against Triple G. Canelo is experienced and young. After losing to Mayweather, Canelo has showed more boxing fundamentals in the ring. He is patient and will go for the kill when he has a chance. Triple G is dangerous, but has his flaws, which were demonstrated in the Jacobs fight. Each puncher has a punchers chance and potentially see both fights touch the canvas because of it. The fight will be interesting and intense as each fighter is known to not hold back and give what Triple G likes to call " Big Mexican Drama Show". Is see Canelo winning by UD overall. Triple G is a great fighter, but he will be out boxed by the younger guy. The winner of this fight should face Pacman!
Watch the fight! And please feel free to leave comments bellow.
Cheers
I AGREE 100%. I have had some friendly debates on Steemit in regards to this fight as I have Canelo winning a Unanimous decision.
A lot of people think GGG is just gonna Steamroll Canelo. Not going to happen. We saw GGG very vulnerable in his last fight and the level of competition is much greater.
Also I pointed out that they will be fighting at T-Mobile arena in my hometown Las Vegas on Mexican Independence Day. There will be 11,000 crazy fans screaming for Canelo. GGG has never experienced anything like that in his life.
Will be a good fight but I expect to see Canelo's hand raised.

No doubt brother. This will be a good fight, better then that garbage in August. Mexicans will rock that place! We will see fireworks, maybe better then the Cotto fight. Jacobs showed that GGG is human and that cloud he was riding on was shot. It think too GGG took the Canelo fight because he knows that he is finally breakable. I mean after the Jacobs fight when they were announcing that results, GGG was shook, he wasn't the smiling like always after a fight.
GGG is going to get that L

I think Canelo got this too. Canelo is underrated in my opinion.

I think there might be. Both are very cautious in opening. If there is, it will be a fight of survival and desperation will kick in. I would like to see blood, lots of it.
