Exactly what I thought today. Whale even can ask author to remove particular content with a promise of upvote when it fits requirements. A kind of censorship.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
