Today I have been blitzing my Facebook & Twitter followers with STEEM related information & enthusiasm. In case you hadn't heard today is a day for enticing investors to the wonders of the STEEM blockchain. Steemit inc doesn't pay for marketing so it is our job to get our hands dirty during coordinated events like this one and play our role responsibly.
@timcliff is behind this one. Check his article for further details if you want to get involved but don't fully understand what to do:

Here you can see @andrarchy cheering us on from the sidelines with some great words of advice.
Some quotes from the film:
Do you want more and more power & money wrapped up in the hands of fewer and fewer individuals? Or do you want that spread out amongst everyone?
People don't invest in cryptocurrencies because they are a get rich scheme. We invest in them because they're an opportunity to create a more open, decentralised & free future for humanity.
Crypto is taking something that a limited number of people are delivering to the community. So, we take a product or service that is effectively being monopolised and without taking up arms or with any form of violence we decentralise that product or service and enable anybody to participate in the wealth .
No protocol is delivering more value and has the potential to deliver orders of magnitude MORE value than the STEEM blockchain.
Thank you @andrarchy for your wisdom.
What have I been up to today?
My Facebook account currently looks like this...

Today I am going to be talking about STEEM, the cryptocurrency behind the world's first decentralised social media platform. I have been using Steemit for over two years now and greatly benefited from the daily STEEM rewards generated from posting my photos, videos & thoughts there.
When I started there were only around 100,000 users and STEEM was valued at $0.07. Today we have over 1M users and it is valued at $1. Last year it peaked at $8 at which point I sold a bunch and invested into other crypto projects I believe in.
Crypto & blockchain technology are here to stay and they are going to change the world as we know it, restructuring centralised monopolies into decentralised & open source (available to all) computer programs.
The crypto market is stabilising now after the enormous speculative pump it experienced in the closing months of 2017 and while I am not about to call the bottom, I will say that when it starts going up again there is opportunity to see your investment increase substantially.
Remember, people don't invest in cryptocurrencies because they are a get rich scheme. We invest in them because they're an opportunity to create a more open, decentralised & free future for all humanity.
Right now might be your last opportunity to buy STEEM for just $1.
Here is a great article by Tim Cliff if you are looking to learn more about STEEM as an investment:

I posted a film here on Facebook exactly two years ago talking about Bitcoin & STEEM and while my understanding of cryptocurrency was pretty basic back then, my prediction for the future was spot on. Had you taken my advice and invested in STEEM at that time you would be looking at x14 increase on your investment today.
Please understand you have not missed the boat! Blockchain technology is still in its infancy and STEEM represents one of the most promising cryptocurrency projects to date because of its ability to expand into decentralised applications which use the STEEM blockchain.
To learn more about how STEEM works and why it is still such a great investment, check out this article by Tim Cliff: https://steemit.com/…/it-s-time-to-start-paying-attention-t…

Cryptocurrencies represent decentralised solutions to centralised problems. While BITCOIN is an alternative to the centralised control of banks, STEEM is an alternative to the centralised control of social media companies.
To understand better what I am talking about I prepared an article on this subject a few days ago.
Please PM me for further info.

Feel free to copy/paste anything you like the look of!
Those were way better than mine, I didn't understand the point was to push STEEM and not steemit but who knows, maybe someone will invest.

Yeah, the content creators are creating. Now we need investors investing...
Weirdly I just had a call from a friend whose rich cousin wants to invest in crypto! And they didn't even know about this ;)
Now to pitch them STEEM over BTC as an investment. Shouldn't be difficult ;)

STEEM will multiply quicker than Bitcoin that's for sure. Ask him how he likes transaction fees.
