Creating Value

Every company needs to create value, and the value is created by " working efficiently". This means say if something takes 10 units of effort to do a work of 10 units . A company finds a solution to do the 10units of work with 1 unit of effort. This create a value.

Convert Value to Money

Essentially stock market, product sales and as such captures this value to create money and wealth. Every company thus has sources of revenue and a financial statement .They have a balance sheet !!!!.

Crypto World

There are cyrpto projects that create value and charge users for the value created .Example storj,golem,Augur,MobileGO. They all sell some kind of service or product and collect revenue. The users are rewarded for participation in crypto currency for using the product. This is easy for me to understand.

How is STEEM done?

steemit obviously creates value and that is captured thru ICO and trading in crypto market. But does steemit generate revenue, will it have a financial statement? it needs revenue to run the company? or is it just by "creating" STEEM dollars? What I am trying to understand is ,if there is no advertisement , then where is the revenue generated. This is true for any content company betting solely on crypto currency. I am aware of the argument that STEEM creates currency from thin air, but more content, more users creates more value.There for STEEM currency goes up in value and rewarding the users. From a community project stand point that is fine, but as an independent company , they still need to generate revenue . How is this part addressed?
