What does "die down" mean here?

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    It means that the payout is a stake-weighted 24 hours after each vote. The more votes there are the less each vote impacts the payout time.
